Yesterday I took Rosie on a LOOONG walk using her retractable leash. Every time a car drove by she pulled on the leash (I think she was scared). At one point she jerked so quickly the leash just broke ... and off she went. I thought "this is how you lose a dog". (okay and I also thought, I just paid a over a hundred dollars to get her shots and pedicure and now she and the money are gone!) Everytime I took a step towards her she ran further away and boy was she fast! I quickly got smart though, and pretended to run away from her. She caught up to me in no time and I had to carry her home.

ROSIE IS SO BIG. But she seesm just the same. I never got why dogs would bring the ball back over to you, then not let you take it out of their mouth. She's so funny!
